Photo Essay: Magic of Czech (Český) Krumlov.

 Czech Krumlov is the historic jewel of South Bohemia, Czech Republic. 
Construction of the town and the castle began in the late 13th century at a ford in the Vltava River (read more here).



A visit to this small town is like stepping back in time – to the Middle Ages.
The town was included in 1992 onto UNESCO's List of World Cultural and Natural Heritage.

To visit Czech Krumlov means to visit a fairy tale.  You will walk in the narrow, charming cobbled streets, feel the breath of centuries at the castle walls, enjoy old houses with Gothic, Renaissance and Baroque elements.

You may visit Minorite Monastery and the exquisite Church of St. Vitus, a number of interesting art galleries and museums.

It’s a wonderful place to go on a honeymoon.


You will bear witness to mysterious phenomena of the unique charm of this town.

You’ll understand that it’s impossible not to fall in love with Czech Krumlov.
