What does that mean?
Success is not accidental. It begins with a goal that you desire to accomplish, then with your plan and preparation.
Where can I apply this in my life?
Preparation applies to life in general, because if you are not prepared for the opportunity, you’ll never succeed. Practice and prepare for everything you want to do in life.
As regards photography, preparation is the key to capturing good images.
Before going anywhere, start forming ideas of where you would like to shoot, plan shots based on weather forecasts and current conditions.
You’ll need to ensure you have the right gear to capture your shot, fully charged batteries, plenty of memory cards.
Preparation is not only and not so much a preparation of the equipment.
Preparation is an understanding and appreciating your subject. This is also part of the preparation process.
Don’t let a lack of preparation ruin your shoot.
And always be prepared to shoot something other than what you had planned for a specific photo session if something will go wrong.
Preparation will allow you to enjoy the photography process.
