52 Weeks Photo Project (52/1).

“Orange is the happiest color.”
                                         Frank Sinatra
I chose a theme for my new project – “All Things Orange”. I’ll take one photo per week of different things, the predominant color of which must be orange.

Orange is the color of carrots, pumpkins and apricots. It is between red and yellow on the spectrum of light, and in the traditional color wheel used by painters. Its name is derived from the fruit orange.
In Europe and America, orange is commonly associated with amusement, the unconventional, extroverts, fire, activity, danger, taste and aroma, the autumn season, and Protestantism. In Asia, it is an important symbolic color of Buddhism and Hinduism.

There are many variations of the color orange: golden orange, burnt orange, dark orange, carrot orange, mahogany, orange-red, Persian orange, pumpkin, apricot, rust, tangerine, tea rose, tangelo. And there are even more variations that I didn’t consider the variations of orange, for example amber, brown, coral or coffee.

My 1st photograph is “Just orange”.

Warm regards!
